Government Degree College Battagram KPK Pakistan, situated in a green valley of Chappargram surrounded by beautiful mountains and adjacent to the great wonder Shahra-e-Karakurram (Shahra-e-Resham, Silk Route), is the only institute in district Battagram providing high class education at Inter and Graduate level in Mathematical, Biological and Social Sciences. The college was first established in 1999, has a beautiful building newly constructed by Japan International Cooperation Agency JICA in 2009.
The city Battagram is known for its breathtaking views, enchanting falls and high mountains. The people here are religious, hardworking and dedicated. Unfortunately, it is less developed area of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa neglected by the authorities. Recently, the city is changed with the construction of buildings and plazas.
